Die Restauration dieses Mannborg Kunstharmoniums war wirklich ein Erlebnis. Nicht nur, daß angesichts des feuchten Klimas in Brasilien alle Teile aus Metall stark oxidiert waren, es war wunderbar mitzubekommen, wie freundlich die Menschen dort sind. Und wie sehr zu an ihrer Kirche und ihren Instrumenten hängen.
Die Arbeit war aufgrund der hohen Temperatur sehr anstrengend. Hinzu kam, dass fast alle 15 Minuten jemand in die Kirche kam, um die Deutschen aus Deutschland zu begrüßen. Aber die vielen Kontakte der Oderichs machten es möglich, dass es sogar möglich war kurzfristig einige Metallteile neu zu verchromen. Aber es war auch kulturell und kulinarisch ein Erlebnis. Der Familie Oderich und den vielen Menschen dort ein herzliches Dank. Gänsehaut bekamen wir, als beim Einweihungskonzert die Gemeinde für uns extra: So ein Tag, so wunderschön wie heute, auf Deutsch einstudiert hatte.
The restoration of this Mannborg Art Harmonium was really an experience. Not only was all metal parts heavily oxidized in view of the humid climate in Brazil, it was wonderful to see how friendly the people there are. And how attached to your church and your instruments.
The work was very strenuous due to the high temperature. In addition, almost every 15 minutes someone came to church to greet the Germans from Germany. But the many contacts of the Oderichs made it possible that it was even possible to re-chrome some metal parts at short notice. But it was also a cultural and culinary experience. Many thanks to the Oderich family and the many people there. We got goose bumps when at the inauguration concert the congregation had rehearsed a day like this in German, as wonderful as it is today.
La restauración de este Mannborg Art Harmonium fue realmente una experiencia. No sólo todas las piezas metálicas estaban muy oxidadas debido al clima húmedo de Brasil, sino que fue maravilloso ver lo amigable que es la gente allí. Y qué apegado a tu iglesia y a tus instrumentos.
El trabajo fue muy agotador debido a las altas temperaturas. Además, casi cada 15 minutos alguien llegaba a la iglesia para saludar a los alemanes de Alemania. Pero los numerosos contactos de los Oderich permitieron incluso volver a cromar algunas piezas metálicas en poco tiempo. Pero también fue una experiencia cultural y culinaria. Muchas gracias a la familia Oderich y a todas las personas presentes. Se nos puso la piel de gallina cuando en el concierto de inauguración la congregación ensayó en alemán un día así, tan maravilloso como es hoy.
